I use selected Polarity Therapy touch, gentle exercises and self awareness in the therapeutic yoga teacher training program and in one-in-one yoga therapy sessions. Somatic Experiencing principles are useful to improve awareness of body and emotions.
Education on and experience of the five elements, three principles and the foundation of Ayurveda is included in the program. For therapeutic yoga teachers this understanding is essential for creating harmony and balance through yoga postures, breathing exercises, and mudras.
Elements of the Polarity nutrition are used on retreats.
The holistic nature of Polarity Therapy is a good fit with yoga, Ayurveda and meditation.
